COMMUNITY
Creative Montessori School presents a variety of school-wide events and activities to help families get to know one another, to support the mission of our school, and to build a sense of community. These take place throughout the year both at CMS and off-campus. Events are listed school calendar, and details are shared with parents via email. Upcoming highlights are listed below.
Room Parents serve as liaisons between families, teachers, and administrators to help ensure that all members of the CMS community feel welcome, heard, and “in the know.” Parents are encouraged to reach out to their class’s Room Parent (listed in the Parent Handbook) or email the Room Parent Coordinator with questions or to get more involved in the community!

Community Arts & Culture Celebration
Thursday, October 29, at 4 p.m.

Community Workday
Sunday, November 8, from 3 to 5 p.m.
Join fellow CMS families for our Fall Community Workday! Bring the whole family, plus gloves and a water bottle, and help us care for the beautiful campus where our children learn and play each day. Together we’ll plant, weed, mulch and tidy the gardens and grounds so they’re ready for the season ahead.

Winter Concert
Friday, December 11, at 6 p.m.
Celebrate the season with Upper Primary, Elementary, and Secondary students as they take the stage to share holiday songs from many cultures and traditions. The children will sing choral arrangements that carry us around the globe, and our older students will add the bright, joyful sound of Orff instruments. It’s a heartwarming evening that shows how music connects us across cultures and brings our community together.
